Types of tea to help you sleep

Sometimes getting to sleep can be hard. Maybe stress from your job or you’re so busy you can’t relax after a long day. So to help here are some teas or ingredients in tea that can help you drift off into a nice relaxing sleep.

  1. Chamomile

    Chamomile is commonly used to help with insomnia. As it has been proven to help reduce the symptoms of anxiety and depression. It can also help reduce inflammation and relieve the symptoms of pms. 


  2. Valerian and the root

    This fantastic plant has been used for centuries to help reduce headaches, insomnia and anxiety. The calming properties of the plant can help send you off into a calm sleep.  The plant helps increase production of GABA in your brain which helps you relax and drift off into a relaxing sleep.


  3. Lemon balm

    Lemon balm can help reduce pain and has been used by dentists. It is also an antioxidant. This plant is a natural sedative which can help relieve you from restless nights.


  4. Magnolia

    This plant has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-allergic agents. It also acts in helping to reduce the symptoms of anxiety and like the lemon balm a natural sedative. It is also a GABA booster. So, the Magnolia mainly the bark is an amazing tool in helping you get off to sleep.
